We've had quite a week here in the Burgess household. It appears that while Landon was getting over his last cold/virus, he somehow caught a new one! Great. Well, that's the one that Dustin and I caught as well. Dustin was home and sick on Monday, and I have stayed home sick the past two days...and Landon is still hanging in there. We went to the doctor again yesterday and other then his terrible congestion, runny nose and watery eyes, the doctor assures us Landon is fine. His lungs and breathing all sound great. So basically we're just to wait it out and wait for things to improve. It's so hard feeling so helpless...especially when you're not feeling well either. We did get in a nap yesterday that was just shy of 3 hours...but that's probably because we didn't sleep well the night before.
One new "trick" Landon has learned (and he feels the need to practice this over and over) is pressing his tongue between his lips and then blowing. So he makes that vibrating motor boat type noise. He's quite amused by it, and I'm convinced it's Dustin's fault that he and I got sick...Landon spits everywhere when he does this new trick!!
Anyhow, it's Friday, so we're all hoping to kick this thing over the weekend! Here's hoping.
A few new things have emerged this week. For starters, Landon has his first tooth! That's right, on top of all the sniffles and temperatures, his first tooth has been inching it's way to the surface and has finally cut through. Although it might only be the tip that we can see, it's definitly there! It's difficult to see, even when you're right up close, so please be patient for a picture. Speaking of pictures...we've worn our camera to the ground! It hasn't been working all week. Kodak does this really cool thing, if you send in your old camera, they will send you a coupon for 15% off the purchase of a new one. So that's what we're going to do. In the mean time, here are some pictures we've taken this week before the camera broke.

Sorry it's been so long since we last posted...we've just had a very long week in the Burgess house. Hope everyone is well and check back soon! We'll probably have a new post up on Sunday as we have plans to meet up with some of Dustin's cousins and their kids. On Dustin's Dad's side of the family, there are 6 Great Grandchildren. The 3 youngest being Easton and Layla (twins from Arizona) and then Landon. So we're hoping to get a few pictures of all 6 together. Stay tuned!! Love, M
