Michaela continues to amaze me. I know she is more uncomfortable (physically) then she has ever been in her life, but she still gets up every day with a smile. Sleeping has been especially rough on her, as she's not allowed to sleep on her back (and everyone knows how difficult it is to change your sleep position). She is only planning to work through next week, at the most, and then will start her maternity leave.
We also toured several daycare facilities and finally agreed on the one we'll be using, so that was pretty exciting.
As of now, our carseat is strapped in and ready to go, our house is fully equipped, and we've read quite a few baby books. We're about as "ready" as I think we can be (which is to say, nowhere near ready enough)....all in all, we just want to meet him!
Anyways, thought we'd give you an update. Also, here is a of picture from Michaela's baby shower with Dustin's family and some of her work friends. Apparently it was a really fun time, and Dustin's sister Nicole even made a diaper cake from scratch!
