Last week Dustin's department at Raley's threw a baby shower for the two of us. It's a tradition that they do for all new parents in the office and was a lot of fun to be a part of. They had a delicious potluck lunch and went all out with a cake and gifts for the Baby Burgess. Here's a picture of us from the shower - as you've requested, a picture of the proud Father-to-Be.
As everything was blue for the baby boy, Dustin decided to spice things up with a pink tie...just to keep things interesting!
On another happy note, one of our friends from our "baby classes" Robby and his wife Amanda, who were due less than one week ahead of us, gave birth to a healthy baby boy last weekend. That really seemed to strike home the message that this baby is coming soon! Let's keep our fingers crossed....stay tuned!
