Ho Ho Ho

Happy Sunday! We had a pretty laid back day here in Sacramento. It's been raining since this morning, so we weren't able to do our normal weekend routine. Luckily, we got the market out of the way yesterday so we were able to laze around and relax on this rainy day. We've enjoyed a fire in the fire place and football all day! We did take an hour or so and knock out some much needed cleaning while Landon napped, but other then that, it was pretty un-eventful. Except for one HUGE thing we did this morning. We took Landon to meet Santa Claus! No "stranger danger" for this child...he was fascinated by Old St. Nick. He just kept staring at him...it took us a while to even get him to look away long enough to get a picture. It was pretty cute. Dustin and I finally hooked up the scanner we bought a month ago, so we could share these two pictures with you. Aren't they great?

Seeing that we finally got the scanner hooked up, we also scanned a few more things we've been wanting to share. Landon's school pictures! I don't know why, but I think it's funny they took school pictures at pre-school. They certainly aren't the plain boring blue lifetouch backgrounds we had when I was taking school pictures! They're much more interesting now. We also scanned Landon's class picture. I know we're biased, but we think he's the cutest kid in the class! This class picture cracks me up. Don't all the kids just look dazed? I'm sure getting this one picture where every kid was looking at the camera took 2 hours! His buddy Arnov (Dustin and I call him Tank) is the one on the bottom right. Tank doesn't know how to crawl yet, even though he is over a year old. He's a whopping 37lbs and scoots every where on his butt. The teachers told us he kept hopping out of the picture, so they finally just had to put him in a bumbo chair (even though he's way to big for it!) just to keep him from hopping out of the picture! We like Tank though, he's a sweet kid...and it makes us realize that Landon is not the only boy who is big for his age! Funny thing is, Landon is the youngest in this picture by 2 months. Other then the boy in green and the one to the left of Landon, all the kids shown here are over a year old. I talked to my Dad today and he asked how big Landon was getting...for those of you keeping tabs, he's about 24lbs still. He hasn't put on too much weight lately...at least until the next growth spurt!

Other then that, we didn't do a whole lot this weekend. It was very relaxing, which is nice, because the next few will be anything but! Hope everyone had a good weekend too! Check back for more pictures soon.
